Joshua Cowie is a Melbourne based composer, arranger, educator, typesetter, husband and father.
He holds a Bachelor of Music and liked music theory so much he completed his Associate of Music Australia (A.Mus.A) in Theory of Music. Joshua’s works have been performed across Australia and his Mass of Mary MacKillop (2010) is in the National Library of Australia. He has typeset, edited and proof read hundreds of pieces of music for publishers and performers.
As a performer Joshua has played hundreds of shows across many styles of music.
As an educator he’s been a University Lecturer, instrumental teacher, conductor and accompanist. He produces education and participation programs at Arts Centre Melbourne, as well as being responsible for their studio output.
